Being an accredited partner of the UK’s ChargeSafe scheme demonstrates our commitment to providing accessible and easy-to-use public electric vehicle (EV) charging locations for all.

Cyber Essentials accreditation is certified by the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Cyber Essentials helps organisations guard themselves against the most common online security threats and to demonstrate best-practice commitment to cyber security.

We are accredited by ELEXON as a Meter Operator (MOP) for both Supplier Volume Allocation (SVA) and Central Volume Allocation (CVA). We are also accredited as a Data Collector and Data Aggregator (DC/DA) for both Half Hourly (HH) and Non Half Hourly (NHH) electricity supplies.

The Meter Operation Code of Practice Agreement (MOCOPA®) is an agreement between Electricity Distribution Businesses and Electricity Meter Operators in Great Britain which defines safety, technical and business interface requirements regarding the provision of meter operation services.

The National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) is operated on behalf UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and assesses Independent Connection Provider (ICP) on works associated with the installation of electrical connections, such as design of new connections to the network, and installation of electrical switches and transformers.

We are approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), the UK’s largest voluntary register of electrical businesses, which assesses over 36,000 businesses to ensure that the installation work they undertake meets the standards expected to keep customers and the general public safe.

As an authorised installer of workplace and home charging points through the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV),  businesses and consumers are able to use SMS’s installation services via the grant-funded Workplace and Homecharge schemes.
