Clean Heat Streets
Working with tech giant, Samsung, heat industry disruptors, BOXT, and local council partners, Oxfordshire County Council, Clean Heat Streets is a Government-funded innovation project which aims to show how optimised installation of domestic heat pumps can reduce the complexity and costs of the technology for end consumers.
Nominated for Energy Efficiency Project of the Year at the Business Green Awards, our Energy Services team helped Travelodge deliver an LED and smart controls retrofit for the hotel chain’s entire UK estate, saving up to 4,000t of CO2 emissions per year.
Virgin Media Park & Charge
With the rollout of 654 on-street electrical vehicle (EV) chargepoints across 170 sites in six local council areas, the Virgin Media Park & Charge (VPACH) demonstrated a successful model that will shape the national rollout of public EV charging infrastructure in Britain for years to come.
ALT HAN Co
Our partnership with Alt HAN Co – the collective of UK energy suppliers – is testing the use of hybrid wired and wireless radio technologies to provide connectivity for premises currently located in smart meter ‘blackspots’, potentially unlocking benefits to one million British homes.
Our pioneering FlexiGrid™ platform is being used to provide the control and aggregation service required to effectively integrate zero-carbon electricity, transport and heat networks on the Orkney islands.
Smart Portfolio Optimisation
Our Smart Meter Health solution assisted one leading UK energy supplier with the challenge of maintaining, optimising and providing data collection from their smart meter portfolio, ultimately supporting the client’s smart obligations, enhancing the consumer experience, and helping generate greater value.
Half Hourly Settlement
Social Energy’s innovative business model is dependent on Half-Hourly Settlement from smart meters. Our dedicated data offering in this area facilitates our client’s AI platform, helping deliver energy that is 70% cheaper for their customers and 100% clean.
Smart Building Controls
After completing energy audits in fourteen of this client’s largest office buildings, we identified opportunities for energy savings from optimising their BMS control strategies and settings, helping them establish and deliver a programme that would save more than £400,000 per year.
