Sub-metering offers all the benefits of AMR with the added advantage of being able to focus on monitoring energy and water consumption in specific parts of a building or on individual assets.
Most commonly found in large supplies or grouped properties such as an office-block, sub metering allows the landlord to correctly apportion costs to tenant’s dependant on actual usage and not simply through the rent or lease agreement service charge.
Tenants only pay for the direct amount of utility they use. We can also give tenants access to their own usage data through our EnergyLive Pro system, so that they can monitor and work towards reducing their individual consumption levels and costs.
